Privacy policy

Skydeck Guide is a small independent publisher based in the United Kingdom. We try to collect as little personal data as possible, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, chosen topic and message. We use these only to reply to you.
• Basic analytics: aggregated, non-identifying information about which pages are read, so we know what to improve.
• Affiliate tracking: if you click a ticket link, our partner Viator may set a cookie so any resulting booking is credited to us. That cookie is set by Viator, not by us.

Legal basis

We rely on legitimate interests to run and improve the site, and on your consent when you send us a message or accept non-essential cookies.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Aggregated analytics contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@theshard.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Third parties

Ticket links point to Viator, which has its own privacy policy and processes any booking data you provide there. We never see your payment details.
